3-phase power, ventilation and room size for commercial sunbeds
Check these before you sign a lease. They decide whether a unit works as a tanning salon at all.
The short answer
Most commercial sunbeds need a 3-phase electrical supply with a correctly rated rotary isolator for each unit (a minimum of 32A is common), plus fresh air intake and hot air extraction. Allow about 2.5m × 2.5m for a lay down and 2.0m × 1.8m for a stand up, with around 2.4m ceiling height for vertical units.

Clearance must be kept above and around the equipment for airflow, servicing and maintenance access.
Electrical supply
Most commercial megaSun and Ergoline equipment requires a suitable 3-phase supply, with a correctly rated rotary isolator installed for each unit. A minimum 32A rotary isolator is commonly required, but the exact specification depends on the model and configuration and must be confirmed before installation.
If the unit you are viewing only has a single-phase supply, ask the landlord and the network operator what an upgrade would involve before you commit. It is the most common reason a promising unit turns out to be unsuitable.
Ventilation
Commercial tanning equipment produces significant heat. Provision is normally needed for both fresh air intake and hot air extraction, and the design depends on the sunbed model and the building: room size, suspended ceilings, neighbouring units, external walls and available ducting routes all matter.
